East Midlands Prison Health: New Providers Appointed

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust will withdraw from its East Midlands prison health contract. Practice Plus Group will take over HMP Fosse Way from July 1st, while Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust will cover prisons in Nottinghamshire & Lincolnshire, starting mid-July 2025. The decision follows criticism regarding care provided to Valdo Calocane & a CQC report.
